Discrete Data Analysis (DDA)
What?
The Discrete Data Analysis (DDA) method is a tool used to assess the
variation in a measurement system due to reproducibility, repeatability,
and/or accuracy. This tool applies to discrete data only.
Why?
1. It helps to independently asses the most common types of measurement
variations - repeatability, reproducibility, and/or accuracy.
2. It helps to determine if the variation due to repeatability,
reproducibility, and/or accuracy in the measurement system is an
acceptable small portion of the total observation
When?
1. When determining if the variation due to repeatability,
reproducibility, and/or accuracy in the measurement system is an
acceptable small portion of the total observed observation or not. |
